TaTa's pizza won with 26%, Fox's had 20% and Beggars came in third with 16%. New poll is listed and will be sit down restaurants in and around 60655. This will span breakfast, lunch and dinner. The criteria is that it must offer waitress service. So even though a restaurant may offer tables, there must be waitress service to be listed. Also, this poll is for the whole package, pricing, taste of food, quality of service, etc.Some of these locations are not quite 60655, but right on the border so they were counted. I can't list every restaurant in Oak Lawn, Alsip, etc. so if you don't see your favorite, don't be mad. Also, if there is a restaurant that is in 60655 that I overlooked, let me know. Thanks.

Frosted Mug at 117th & Pulaski. R.I.P. Nobody will ever open that place as a drive-in, unless they will be doing low-rider car nights there. What's with all the Spanish signs around there lately. It's starting to look like 59th & Kedzie a bit, ain't it? This country better get it's act together on the border and enforcing our laws or before long, 59th & Kedzie will be what main st. U.S.A will look like. I hope President Bush let's those two border patrol agents (that shot those piece of crap drug runners in the ass)out before he leaves office. Build a fence (electric preferably). The cost to build it will seem like peanuts compared to the B.S. the "President elect" Obama wants to cram up our butts! What a joke!!
Chicago is a "sanctuary city", which means a safe haven for illegal aliens. Police officers can't even ask if they are citizens of this country or not, yet they get free hospital, school, etc. Just think how much better our economy would be if we didn't have to pay for people who don't belong here. If you want to be a American, come here the legal way and you will be accepted with open arms, but don't come here illegaly and expect the same rights as citizens, and if you don't get them to have enough gall to protest and demand them. From what I read, illegals get better benefits than older citizens get. Wake up Americans and vote people into office that will put a stop to this, our wallets will thank you.

I agree. I stopped going to Richies a short time ago. On several occasions a few months apart, the food was not as good as it was in the past.
Anyone try Gilhooley's lately. I hear they have new management again. Saint Xavier just can't get a handle on that place. Just wondering if it has gotten any better. I've talked to some students that go to St. Xavier, and they say the food is way better at the dining hall over there. Imagine running a bar & grill and being upstaged by a cafeteria.
