Yeah, who do you think owns all the vacant lots? They are going to make sure "nice" businesses come in. They must consider businesses that sell pagers, etc "nice", but really the only thing they put their name on is their monopoly fundraiser, kind of interestng.

Where is their budget? Where's the money going to? What have they done to fill these vacant lots? What are the conditions on the owned building? Are they even rentable? What businesses etc have been contacted to possibly come here? This organization is poorly run with no transparency. It is a clout position with no accountability. So we can assume the sewer problems makes the Walgreen's corner still a COMING SOON! If this organization was in charge of your home remodel you'd fire them. Why hasn't Ginger fired this group? This is just 19th ward clout with a meeting hall to play monopoly.

The executive plan is dated 1997! 12 years ginger! Fire these people!

I tried that link and I was not directed to the site. I did have the priviledge to attend the town hall meeting a few months back, and they did promise that the groundbreaking would take place this spring. My question is, If the retail spots that are not selling across from the park, then why build more store fronts down the street?

Thier office is next to La Fiesta ( in the lot). I get thier newsletter every few months, you can get it if you request it...don't know if they OWN the lots, but they are supposed to encourage development..

I heard that different business have been trying to get into the stores in front of the park and were denied...I guess Mt. Greenwood doesn't need another tanning salon or nail place as these were the businesses trying to rent...I say so what better those stores then nothing at all.

They DO own numerous lots? They even state so on their completely outdated website
