A strong armed robbery occurred approximately 11:45 a.m. this morning 2/23 at the Walgreens parking lot located at 111th and Kedzie.An African American girl was using the ATM machine located inside Walgreens. Upon leaving Walgreens two African American men in their thirties took her purse and fled in a black old work van.
Please be on alert for your own safety.

why even publish illiterit posts? This might be one of the robbers and they are trying to warn us that all of 60655 will become targets and the war will come to our neighborhood. WTF if they can't sound educated please do us the favor and either correct the gramatical errors or don't post!!
I know the spelling errors drive me crazy. By the way, its spelled Illiterate not illiterit.

I find it quite disturbing that somebody submits an entry about a serious crime in our neighborhood and the best response to it is about the grammar? I love that you not only can't spell yourself, but started your entry without capitalizing the first word. Seriously, the intent of this blog is not to criticize each other, it's to share information within our neighborhood and opinions. I'm almost tired of coming on and reading the entries anymore because there is so much bashing!

I think the criticism was aimed at the person that replied to your post, not yours. No....it doesn't matter and that was my point. The focus should have been on the crime, not the grammar. Thanks for posting it....I'm only away block from that Walgreeens and hadn't heard about it.

RARELY do we ever see a squad car going down 111th Street. And if the beat cop is on vacation or furlough, you can forget about a replacement. Mount Greenwood doesn't matter to the politicians or police around here.
