I was told by Matt O'Shea that this rumor is false.

If this is true at all, we need to band together and protest Ginger and protest the conversions.

over the weekend I recieved a aoutmated call on my cell #. Asking my opinion press #1 for favorable #2 for unfavorable about Rugai,Daley, Oshea, Lipinski, K. Joyce and a few others then at the end it asked who I would support in a congressional race between K. Joyce and Lipinski. Looks like little Kevin is going to try and step up and take on the lipper. Two political heavyweight families fighting for their undeserving offspring this could get interesting

A Good Story

I would like to invite anyone who can to view the video in the
hypertext below. You may remember the story of the Cincinnati Policeman who was critically injured about 2 years ago and his miraculous recovery against all the odds.

His wife has made a video about his journey and entered it in a contest for a trip to Disney World. By hitting the hypertext and viewing the video you have voted for him. This can be done once every day until the 20th.

Thanks.

Here's the link: http://modernmom.com/main/polls_video/2/10

You may have to copy the link

I hear they won the contest ... good for them

SHOP & SHARE DAYS AT JEWEL - OSCO

Autism Speaks will hold a Shop & Share fund raising program on the dates of April 20th thru the 22nd and also on April 27th thru the 29th, 2009 at all Jewel-Osco Stores.

By shopping at Jewel-Osco on one of those days, 5% of the total purchase, excluding tax, will be donated by Jewel-Osco to our organization. It’s a great way to help these kids and it will not cost you a cent.

Autism Speaks will use the money generated by their Shop & Share to create awareness and research for a cure.

Anyone interested in helping Autism Speaks by shopping at Jewel-Osco on those dates will need a Shop & Share Identification Slip - please go to the link below for slip.

Please feel free to pass this along. Thanks for helping raise money for Autism

For everyone who critizied the parade committee, now you can see what they were up against all these years. Organizers can't do much if the cops don't follow through."
TO THE PERSON WHO'S NOT A COP OR MARRIED TO ONE:
99.9 % OF MISDEM. CASES GET THROWN OUT OF COURT WHETHER THE COP SHOWS UP OR NOT...YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT IF ALL THE COPS THAT ARRESTED PEOPLE ON MISD. CHARGES ON PARADE DAY (WHICH MOST WERE) DID SHOW UP..PEOPLE WOULD HAVE WENT TO JAIL OR GOTTON PUNISHED IN ANYWAY? GET REAL. THEY WAY I SEE IT, COPS WHO DIDN'T SHOW UP, FOR WHATEVER REASON, SAVED THE CITY OT MONEY....DONT BLAME THE PARADE LOSS ON THE COPS...MISD. COURT IS A JOKE, A WASTE OF TIME FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED.......SHOW UP, GET ALL CASES DISMISSED AND COLLECT 3 HRS OF OT...YOU HAVE PEOPLE ARRETED FOR THEFT, WEED, BATTERY, ASSAULT, PISSING, DRINKING, RECKLESS CONDUCT, GRAFITI..ETC...COP SHOWS UP ON HIS.HER DATE ONCE A MONTH... STATES ATTNY. THROWS ALL OF THEM OUT, WITH THE COP STANDING BY HER SIDE...BALME THE COURTS IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO ASSIGN BLAME...EXCUSE....

I know I said this in regards to this, I hope I didn't give off the impression that the cops were wrong. I don't think it was the committee or the cops, it was the trashball drunks. They ruined a fun time. I didn't care if the cops didn't show up, and am glad the slimeballs (drunks) had to show up in court and have their time wasted.

Now if someone else said this, what do you expect - people are goofs. You guys do a great job, and I am thankful for the job you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

I need of a rec. for a good vascular surgeon for abdom. aortic aneurysm in the area.

-- My father had a AAA. The surgeon clamped his arteries off too long. He passed away two days after his surgery from renal failure. For the sake of your family, go to the best, most highly recommended surgeon you can find. My father died at Margaret Mercy in Dyer, IN. Don't go there. Good luck and God bless.

So does anyone have any idea of who is the best? Willing to travel to find the right surgeon.

Northwestern, Loyola, Rush, Univ of Chicago, etc. are all teaching hospitals and have cutting edge info. Community hospitals like Palos, Christ, and Little Co of Mary - get the technology a few years later - and have less specialists.

I would definitely agree. Go to a teaching hospital.

OK so if O'Shea is full of shit, the residents of Mt. Greenwood need to seriously organize and picket the conversion of our neighborhood into Englewood west. Who in their right minds would want this shit here among our kids? The reason we get shit on all of the time (schools, CPD services, etc) is because we sit back and take it, the non taxpayers have their mugs on TV whenever possible publicly bitching about something or another. We need to stand up and stop being pushed. We are at the edge of the city as it is, there is no where else to move to if they destroy this neighborhood. There is strength in numbers, Rugai can ignore a few of us but not all of us.People are ralling to save the special ed program, we should rally to save our neighborhood!

Rush or Univ of Chicago for sure. ALWAYS get a second opinion....

O'Shea will be our next alderman and a candidate who will keep the 19th Ward the best place to reside in the city!

Oshea is a bartender who knows the right people. Has he ever had a job that wasnt handed to him by the machine. Nice enough guy but he is just going to do what he is told. He is ginger all over again. In 2010 we need changesomeone who actually cares about the ward and its residents not someone who does what ever Daley, Shehan,or Joyce tell them.

Anonymous said...

Jim McMahon for the 19th ward.
