Blue harbor resort in Sheboygan Wisconsin. Right on the lake. Nice beach and outdoor pool. Huge indoor water park. Very nice places to eat in town right across the bay. The kids love this place. Three hour drive.

Last summer we went camping at camp Jellyu stone :

It was not expensive at all and the kids loved it. They have a heated pool and a 60 foot outdoor movie screen that they play movies on nightly. It is about an hour away from the city and close to shopping. They have a laundry facility and very clean bathrooms. We will be going back as soon as the weather permits.

We love Blue Harbor Resort too-we have been going there since it opened. It is not chaotic like the dells and the kids love walking on the beach. We just went there 2 weekends ago and had another great time. I highly recommend it if you want to go somewhere to just relax.
