WE DO NOT need any apartments or condos. NOR do we need a Baptist Church. HOUSING is the way to go. All of the above would bring bad things into the neighborhood.

What we need is a community center that can be used for tots, teenagers and seniors. A place where meetings can be held, birthday parties can take place and the community can come together. This would take the community to run and promote because I am sure the state and city will not have any money to make it into a community center. I can't see a builder purchasing it for a teardown - it's worth too much.

A Homeless Shelter!!!, Oh dear god no!!! Thats all we need are homeless people walking around our neighborhood along side our kids going to/from the homeless shelter. I say either make it a gym/community center or build homes/Town homes on the land, Not Appartments! Appartments bring in low income scum and the scum only gets worse as time goes by and can eventually become Section 8. we all have something to gain when the property value goes up if they were to build homes on the land.

WELL when you live on the block and see some of the people a homeless center, shelter, or anything like that would bring to the neighborhood you too would vote for housing and not apartments. I want my housing value to go up and NOT down .

oh yeah, a homeless shelter is just what we need. how would you like your kids walking by there with shitbirds and drug addicts hanging around. not to mention what it would do to the crime rate and property values. hey johnson, why dont you put a homeless shelter on your block in oak lawn. thats what i thought.
