Morgan Park Academy Link added

I added a link to Morgan Park Academy after receiving the email below.

Could you please add a link for Morgan Park Academy? I think it is a wonderful, hidden gem in our community. Did you know they have a 20 acre campus and they rent out all of their facilities for private functions? How great would a birthday party be in their atrium in the summer or in their new gymnasium.

I thought this was very cool.

Well I do not thing morgan park academy is in 60655. I really dobt anyone in mount greenwood would send the kid to a school for 20 grand a year for grammar school or high school. Here is a question? How did they get the old beverly art center building? How much did they pay???

The place is a true gem. Nothing but good for our neighborhood.

I know it is not in 60655, but it is listed more for the opportunity to rent out the space for a party if you choose to. I personally never knew it was an option. I personally know a few people from 60655 that send their kids there. Even if you have the money, it still doesn't mean that your child is going to get in. You have to have brains and money.

MMM... DIDN'T THEY OWN THE BUILDING TO BEGIN WITH, IT IS ON THE PROPERTY. CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF (HELD BY SOME) THERE ISN'T AN OIL SLICK AROUND MT GREENWOOD THAT HOLDS US IN HERE, AND DOESN'T LET US OUT. EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS

MPA is a great institution. Some of the Mt Greenwood parents would be well advised to send their children there. Take sone of that equity in your house and put it to good use. Your kids will shine.

Why can't you put a MT. GREENWOOD PARK LINK. I'm sure there will be some constructive comments about improvements that are needed in this swamp of a park. Drove by earlier and thought I made a wrong turn and wound up at Maple Lake. What a shame. I would be willing to bet that Washington, Jackson, Douglas and Sheridan Parks are not like this. Where did the taxpayers on this side of town go wrong. We have no voice what-so-ever about our community. If I were alderman in this area I would be ashamed to admit it, and that also goes for the Park District...

The DLS link on the page is for the school in Concorde, CA.
The Chicago school is De La Salle Institute.
A rooty toot toot, a rooty toot toot, we are the boys from the Institute. We don't smoke and we don't chew but we go with girls that do.

Sorry about that...DeLaSalle link has been changed to the CORRECT one.

I totally agree! I cannot wait for the weather to improve so that I can walk my dog around the corn fields, rather than the park.
