If I fall in a pothole, will I reach China?

Some of these potholes are so big now, I fear for the safety of my person and vehicle. I swear, I caught myself this morning on the way to the Metra station watching the road in front of me in order to avoid the potholes that are every 3 feet. I wasn't watching the cars in front of me, but the actual road. How dangerous is that? When does the City usually come out and fix these things? The next week looks relatively warm.

Where have you found the worst potholes to be? The intersection of 111th and Western is horrendous, which slows down rush hour traffic to a crawl.

Central park from 110 to 111th has been re done twice in 2 years and is still falling apart. Which aldermans cousin gets these contracts. From 110 to 103 on central park it is unsafe to drive your car the street is rising is some places sinking in others. The US attorney needs to look at the contracts that are handed out for these street repairs tax money is being stolen. Homan is terrible 109 to 111th.

In and Around, while dodging that crater did you hear on the radio that Daley might be going down, federal style? Flying on our dime all over the world with Mag-ster. Mag-ster got a 6 figure job as a gift from a "non -profit" agency under federal invest. Kinda like M.Obama, but she is untouchable.

Dodging potholes is exactly all I've been doing and you're right...it takes away your concentration on everything else around you. Very dangerous! The sidestreets are terrible around 112th between Whipple and Sacramento...it's like one big pothole! How about the two sets of tracks on 111th? Is there anything the city can do about that? I seriously feel like my car is going to bottom out every time I cross them even when I go slow!

All you have to do is call 311 and give them the location. They are out there within days. If everyone just keeps driving over them and doing nothing, then guess what....Call. I did and they repaired the one I called about the next day.

the area around peterson, lincoln and jersey is really really horrible,
There was already a sink hole the size of a bus fixed a few weeks ago, but it's the absolute worst.

Chicago Streets are being repaired with outdated and defective materials, in incorrect manner, by Daleys mobbed-up road repair companies. They are repaired so they PURPOSELY fal apart again soon, so he can continue to fleece the taxpayers. Why don't the roads fall apart all the time in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota, etc? Their weather conditions are the same, or worse than ours. HELLO FEDS where are YOU, Out to Lunch as Usual? ?

How about that flood on 111th in front of the AG School. This area has flooded since the street was resurfaced 2 1/2 years ago. Never had a problem there before that. In fact, since they came down 111th and put sewer liners(a nephew of Daley's company did the work)in the problem has gotten worse. The sewer under the street is broken and needs to be replaced. Ginger's office has been aware of this problem since day one. As everyone in Mount Greenwood knows, The city that works, works everywhere else but for the people in Mount Greenwood. I'm sure if this problem was in North Beverly it would have been taken care of right away.

The best street is 108th to 109th and Homan. You know why? It's cement.
