Unbelievable!!! I've said it before....warm weather hits and with the economy the way it is the crime is going to sky rocket. BE CAREFUL people! Another inside job I'm sure!!!

Did the robber change his shirt half way through the robbery? Come on TCF, as soon as that shirt went over his head you could have took him out with one of those day old baguette's you have behind the counter.

Sorry Nippsy, the same guy robbed two TCF banks, same guy, different robberies, two pictures.

A sign of the times. I think it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better folks. Be cautious, lock your doors and protect your families. I'd recommend keeping a loaded gun within arms reach at a moments notice, you decide for yourself.

Why don't these people rob banks in their own communities? I wonder if they have better protection or armed gaurds? Did this man have a gun? I wonder where or beat car was? Was it over on the east side again? Sounds like another reason why we need more police around here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good question, called the other nite about some young couple having a argument in the middle of the street, in which he drove up on a lawn to block her walking path. 45 minutes later police still no show, they must of reconciled and left, so I went to bed.

If Jewel/TCF's get hit on a regular basis can it be an inside job or someone giving info to criminals on when to hit and where? Just arm- chair crime fighting!

Saturday: 27 June 09

2211 at 9;49am assigned to a robbery in progress at 89 And Eggleson.

Then over to Gaitlings funeral home on Halsted to work one of the five funeral processions that day. the police have to lead and follow the processions to 115 and talman, 115 laramie, 127 and Cicero etc etc. At the cemetery they stay for the entombment to make sure no one shoots any one.

Dont forget the tac teams were on Church and Racine. They still shot a kid in Gaitlings lot right in front of the police commander from 22.

Per Area 2 Commander Dana Alexander the Caucasian Community does not need police protection. THE PRESENT COMMANDER IS A NON RESIDENT AND A SPINELESS PATRONAGE HACK. This never occurred under Commanders Garrity, Logue, Holmes,
Knightly or any of the other police commanders. Those fine men never allowed Mt. Greenwood or Beverly to be stripped of police even during the Bulls riots, the anti war protests, or Taste of Chicago. Every Watch Commander should be terminated in the 22 station. All it takes is a memo to police headquarters stating your not giving up man power.
Aldermen Doherty, ALD Tunney, ALD O'Conner, and ALD Burke do not allow any police removed from there respective wards only the tac teams.

On the second watch not one car was covering Mt. Greenwood or Beverly from seven am until four pm.

Merrionette Park had to handle a street disturbance/disabled car at 112th and Kedzie at 11:15 am because we had no police.

I try not to be racist but the Dollar store on Kedzie calls the police daily, this TCF Bank has now been robbed nine times.

The police arent telling you about the two black pick pockets that have preyed on our senior citizens inside the doors at the Jewel having recently robbed the mother of the assistant Police Chief in Evergreen Park.

Buy a fire arm. I tried to reason with the ward office and they asked me to become a precinct captain when I expressed my concern of no police service.

You got what you want people when you followed the Democratic thieves at the voting box.

Weiss is going to re-align the police beats and we are going to have to beg the Sheriff or the state police for a police patrol here in mt. greenwood.

We live in peace in a beautiful community of good hard working families, and we now are being penalized on a daily basis by the 19th ward and the Chicago No response Police for being civilized.

Fed UP

If you think that bt. 2211 would have made difference and would have kept the TCF/Jewel from being robbed then you are an idiot. We / the police do not have X-Ray vision as of this writing. Maybe, after being robbed 9 times over the last couple of years, it's time to hire a security guard. I know a lot of cop's in the neighborhood that would like that side job. and what is up with the female Sgt. on days from in 022 who lives in the 7-11 reading the paper/ magazines/ break down and buy one or better yet maybe, now just maybe mind you patrol the ten sector. Now that would be a novel idea.

your an idiot, the person did the right thing. Call the police. You say some thing and they both turn on you and your family. They now know where you live and you placed your family at risk. Wake up two weeks from now and your windshield or home windows are shattered....

No one could have prevented the bank robbery, the jewel manager has asked to have the bank removed from the store because of safety and store size.

At least the female sgt is in the neighborhood, you sound like an immature newly hired hair gel police officer, the spoiled generation the city now hires with out any life experience or people skills but you have a college degree. My generation respected authority, had to register for and go into the service, couldnt afford college with out the GI bill, but we did not complain.

Mind ure business punk, at least the police car is a deterrent. May be Ginger(we know ure a GINGER guy) could park the police wrecks that don't run-junks waiting to be sold as scrap in the neighborhood instead at some police station along the dan ryan......

May be it would stop the wolf from preying on the sheep..

I don't think so ...

Why don't they move the bank into the empty shop in between Jewel and CVS???
Wouldn't that make more sense?? Then they could install more security features.
How many innocent shoppers have to be terrified just to go grocery shopping?
