BAPA's 39th Annual Beverly Home Tour

The Beverly Area Planning Association's 39th Annual Beverly Hills/Morgan Park Home Tour will showcase five residences Sunday.

Included this year are a three-story 1920s Tudor tucked by the edge of the woods; a modest cottage that has been transformed into a spacious home with related living; a Victorian-era hilltop mansion built by the president of a lumber milling company and recently renovated; a Colonial-style home with a family-centered addition; and a Craftsman-style home built on a double lot and boasting many of its outstanding original architectural details.

Matt Walsh, executive director of the planning association, said tickets will be available Sunday.
"We typically sell most of the tickets on the day of the home tour," he said.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and they are available by calling (773) 233-3100 or online at www.bapa.org.

Exact addresses of each home are available once tickets are bought, Walsh said.

Participants can choose to take the tour on their own in their own vehicles or, for an additional $4, take a guided tour of the historic districts by trolley.

Trolleys leave the Beverly Arts Center approximately every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
