Watch Your Back

With this economy and the holidays coming, people are becoming more desperate. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times. Look around when exiting and entering your home, car, stores, etc. Do not leave packages in your car. Look around you while at an ATM. Be overly cautious and trust your instincts.

**On December 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. there was another robbery at 110th and Rockwell. Two people were getting into their car and they were held up by three people with guns and masks on. One was caught and identified.**

New Coffee Shop in 60655

Beverly Coffee Shop (formerly Beverly Bean) has now re-opened for business under new ownership. Tried it this morning and the coffee was good. Best of all, they have a drive-thru which is awesome in this weather. They are located at the corner of 111th and Fairfield.

They are serving lunch and pastries in the morning.

Open 7 days a week. M-F 6 a.m to 8 p.m. Sat and Sun 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
